Idyllically positioned Biddenden Vineyards is the oldest commercial vineyard in Kent. Started in 1969 we now have over 22 acres. We’ve won many awards, and were the only Kentish wine served at the EU commission in Brussels last year. We make over 38,000 bottles of wine and lots of delicious cider every year. Visit our panelled tasting room and shop – and enjoy a walk through the vines.

Biddenden Vineyards is Kent’s oldest commercial vineyard having been established by the Barnes family in 1969.  Original plantings of 1/3 acre have now grown to 22 acres, producing White, Red, Rosé and Sparkling English Wines.

The vineyard is also known for producing the famous Biddenden Cider, a strong, still cider produced from a blend of Kentish culinary and desert apples, along with Biddenden Farm Pressed Apple Juice.
The vineyard is open to visitors throughout the year and admission and tastings are FREE of charge.
Free guided tours are run on selected Saturdays - please see our website for a list of dates & other special events -
